Golden Hill Little League has announced it will once again operate a fireworks stand as a key fundraiser, having secured one of only 15 permits awarded each year by the City of Fullerton. Located in the Ralphs Parking Lot at 1121 N. Harbor Blvd., the stand aims to rally community support in its second consecutive year of operation.
The permits allocated through the city’s lottery system are distributed to local non-profits, but Golden Hill Little League emphasizes its unique position as a fully volunteer-run organization. According to league officials, every dollar raised from the fireworks sales will directly benefit programming for youth players, a commitment they highlight as not universally applicable to all permit holders. “We ask that you support our stand,” the league stated.
Sales will be held during the following hours:
-
– July 1–3: Noon – 10 pm
-
– July 4: 10 am – 9 pm
In addition to fundraising, the league is seeking volunteers to help staff the booth, with shifts lasting 3–4 hours. As an incentive, volunteers will receive a $50 credit toward Spring Registration for the coming season. Organizers note the importance of volunteer participation, stating, “While it takes thousands of volunteer hours to facilitate a season, we are just asking for 3–4 hours of your time on one day.” Interested individuals can sign up by clicking here or via the league’s email: info@ghll.net.
