In a vibrant blend of art, wine, and community, Art Trippin’ and the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) are set to launch “Sips & Stories: Women in Mexican Art History,” a four-part evening lecture series commencing this August. Designed to honor the contributions and resilience of women artists in Mexico, the series will be led by Dr. Megan Lorraine Debin, an accomplished art historian and professor at Fullerton College.

Scheduled for Thursdays throughout August, each lecture promises to immerse participants in the richness of Mexican art history, illustrated via captivating storytelling, thought-provoking visuals, and lively discussions. Guests can sip on wine while exploring the profound impact of iconic figures such as Frida Kahlo, delving into the narratives of ancient Indigenous goddesses, and considering the intellectual legacy of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.

The series offers an inviting atmosphere, complete with charcuterie and a selection of drinks available for purchase. Lectures will take place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, making for an engaging evening out.
