Connie Kohn Marks Her 100th Birthday with Joy and Energy

It is with great delight that the Snappy Tappers of OLLI, Cal State Fullerton, wish their dear member, Connie Kohn, a HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY!

After her husband of 65 years passed away 10 years ago,  Connie came to California from New Jersey. Her sons and sister live in the Los Angeles area, so she moved to be closer to them. She was extremely happy to find “Morningside,” where she has been living ever since.

Shortly after moving into Morningside, Connie moved into the hearts of all the Snappy Tappers!  Her high energy, positive attitude and kindness to all were magnetic, and she could really dance, too!!  Connie picked up the steps and routines easily and always has a smile on her face as she danced.

Connie says she is “thrilled to have found the Snappy Tappers,” and she never misses a class unless she is sick.  She loves the tap class so much that she is motivated to get up early to attend class every Friday; otherwise, she sleeps in late all other days!

Connie is a most inspiring centenarian.  Her attitude and fortitude continually inspire us. She has a sweet little giggle as she talks and takes everything in lighthearted stride.  We all look up to her and hope to model her bright attitude as we age.
