CSUF Masterplan (& Fate of Fullerton Arboretum) Meeting at Clayes Performing Arts Center Lobby on Campus

A presentation will take place at 10am and another at 5:30pm on Wednesday, April 10 at the Clayes Performing Arts Center Lobby on campus according to a note sent out by Cal State Fullerton University Office of the Vice President of Administration and Finance. Clayes Performing Arts Center is located on campus at 800 N. State College Blvd, Fullerton (on State College between Dorothy Lane and Nutwood). Free parking is provided for the event in the Nutwood Parking Structure.

This is an opportunity for interested community members to weigh in on whether the Fullerton Arboretum is worth saving or should be given up for student dorms.

The message from the CSUF administration is below:

“To accommodate broad interest from across campus, we have extended the hours of the upcoming Campus Master Plan Open House. All campus employees, students, alumni and community members are invited to visit the Clayes Performing Arts Center Lobby between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

Your input is needed as we refine this vital blueprint for providing a safe, sustainable and welcoming learning environment that supports student success into the future.

Two brief presentations are scheduled, at 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., giving an overview of the Campus Master Plan and a status report on next steps. The event will also feature interactive displays, refreshments, meet-and-greets with the Campus Master Plan team, and ample opportunities to provide your feedback on final options.

Guest parking will be available in the Nutwood Parking Structure, with details on the Campus Master Plan website.
