The City of Fullerton is accepting applications from citizens interested in filling vacancies on the Community Development Citizens’ Committee and Library Board of Trustees.
The Community Development Citizens’ Committee has an unscheduled vacancy for a term expiring December 31, 2020. The Library Board of Trustees has vacancies for two upcoming terms expiring December 31, 2022.
The Community Development Citizens’ Committee provides input on the development, implementation and evaluation of the Community Development Block Grant Program. The Library Board of Trustees provides oversight of the Fullerton Public Library as defined in the California State Education Code.
Deadline to submit completed applications to the City Clerk’s Office is 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020.
Applicants must reside in Fullerton and be at least 18 years old. Commission members serve on a voluntary basis and receive no financial remuneration. Some commission and committee members may be required by state law to file conflict of interest disclosure statements.
