The collaborative spirit embedded in these artworks epitomizes the essence of the sister-city partnership between the Fullerton School District and Fukui, Japan.
The featured art stems from an annual international art exchange program with Fukui. Students from Fukui have poured their hearts and minds into these creations, providing a glimpse into their unique perspectives and artistic visions. Explore the exhibit, reflecting on the stories behind each piece and the bridges of understanding they construct between our communities.
This exhibit was curated by Fullerton College Museum Studies Intern Jhocelyn Corrales and Fullerton Museum Center Exhibit Specialist Georgette Collard with the support of the FMC team. Special thanks to Yoichi Harita for his invaluable translation assistance.
This exhibit and FMC’s Museum Studies Pipeline program were made possible thanks to the California Arts Council Creative Youth Development Grant and in partnership with the Fullerton College Art Department.
